The event commenced with a Fireside Chat was with Winifred Allison, ED, Products & Marketing VFD Microfinance Bank as the speaker on the topic ‘Investing in Yourself: Why Women’s Financial Empowerment Matters’ moderated by Goodness Adannaya Armstrong, Founder, StartupHR Africa.

The 2023 Herconomy Enterprise Challenge – our annual financing event –
for female entrepreneurs to win a grant of up to three million Naira (N3,000,000).
The 2023 call for entry was open for a couple of weeks, and we got hundreds of entries from which twelve finalists were chosen based on the strength of their applications. The selected twelve finalists went on pitched to a carefully chosen panel of judges.
