Google x Herconomy
Over the last couple of years, we have trained over 80,000 women online and offline and we found a few common factors that limit women and in fact, stop them from dreaming big. Some of these factors are:
- Imposter Symdrome
- Lack of self confidence
- Little or no support structure
- Pressure from the society
- Limiting mindset
These issues cut across all kinds of women, whether in business or in careers. They do not get the traction, visibility and promotion they deserve and have earned. While some speak about their achievements, majority are afraid to and do not know where to start.
To this end, we are collaborating with Google to host a #IamRemarkable workshop specially for our Community.
#IamRemarkable is a Google initiative empowering women and other underrepresented groups to celebrate their achievements in the workplace and beyond.
Our goal for this event include:
- Improve the self-promotion motivation and skills of women and underrepresented groups
- Challenge the social perception around self-promotion
