Partnership for sustainable
development

The Partnership for Sustainable Development (PSD) is an initiative put in place to support the efforts of countries and communities to implement sustainable development goals (SDGs). To meet the SDG goals, we can’t rely on the Nigerian government to take charge of everything—it’ll take years.

Over the years, we have witnessed an increase in pollution, water shortages, climate change, and a strain on basic amenities like healthcare. It’s time for a change.

Our Proposed Solution

Through our efforts, we aim to improve the quality of life in more communities by providing clean water and sanitation, quality education, adequate food, sustainable production, and sound chemical and waste management.

Our Impact Stories

Amazon Recruitment Week

The Amazon recruitment week brings together women and the Amazon engineering services for four days of networking. With the objective of increasing the number of women in the workforce, we organized a virtual recruitment week where recruiters across different departments at Amazon can meet with potential candidates.

The success of this recruitment week raised awareness of the need for gender inclusion and diversity in the workplace. In total, we registered over 4,000 participants, and more than 14,000 emails were reached.

Google #Iamremarkable: Unrecorded

The Google #Iamremarkable event celebrates the achievements of women and other underrepresented groups in business and technology. The program was designed to learn about the struggle with gender inequality in the workplace and how to deal with it.

Herconomy collaborated with Google to host the #Iamremarkable event and train women on how to deal with issues that limit them in the workplace. Issues like imposter syndrome, a lack of self-confidence, a limited mindset, and a lack of support system have prevented women from dreaming big.

Herconomy conference: on our YouTube page

The Herconomy conference is a female-focused conference, connecting women from all over Nigeria to discuss what matters most to them: economic empowerment, business, technology, and innovation.

The Herconomy conference is a great opportunity to network with other women in business, learn more about running a business, and meet new friends. It gives women the opportunity to be themselves and to make genuine connections with other women.

Ticking all the boxes for a successful event, at the Herconomy conference we host top speakers for a learning experience that will empower and change lives.
